Merge Legion — a free tactical merge-and-deploy game

About the game
Merge Legion is a tactical merge-and-deploy game. Spawn knights, archers, and mages onto a grid, then drag matching-tier units together to evolve them into stronger versions. As waves of enemies march in from the right, your job is to keep the line full of mid-tier units while feeding the back row of the grid with fresh recruits. Coins from kills bankroll the next spawn.

How to play
Controls
Spawn unit: click or tap the spawn button — costs coins.
Merge: drag a unit onto another of the same type and tier to evolve them.
Rearrange: drag any unit to an empty grid slot to reposition.
Tips & strategy
Don't fill every slot — keep at least one open so a fresh spawn has somewhere to land and start the next merge chain. Mages out-DPS knights once you stack two tiers, but they melt if a melee unit slips past your front row, so keep a knight wall. Save coins between waves for one expensive merge instead of three cheap spawns — higher-tier units are exponentially stronger.
Fullscreen
Hit the Fullscreen button in the bar above the play area to expand. To exit, press Esc (or swipe down from the top edge on touch) and tap the Exit button that slides in.
Merge strategy notes
Board economy
Merge Legion is about keeping the board useful. Every low-tier unit can become part of a stronger formation, but only if you leave enough space to combine pieces without blocking your next move. A crowded board is a hidden timer.
Upgrade choices
Merge toward a purpose instead of making the highest number available. If the next enemy wave is wide, a balanced line may outperform one overbuilt unit. If a boss is coming, consolidate damage before the fight starts.
Catalog role
The game fills the middle ground between idle merging and active strategy. It is approachable for casual players while still rewarding anyone who likes planning a board several moves ahead.
